About the project

Design and Build contract of a marine fuel system for small craft berthing vessels, which consists of two 1000 gallons fuel storage tanks and fuel dispensers, located on end of a new pier.

The scope of works includes:

  • Demolition of existing structures
  • Site improvements and soil stabilization
  • Two 1,000 gallons above ground storage tanks, on built up reinforced concrete spill containment foundation and security chain link fence and gate around fuel storage area. One tank contains diesel fuel and the second contains gasoline fuel
  • Driveway gravel road and concrete pad for refueling truck area
  • Refueling pumps with meter and piping
  • Double wall fuel containment piping, routed from fuel storage tanks below grade to pier and below deck of pier to fuel marine dispensers
  • Two weather resistance stainless steel fuel dispensers at the pier mooring area, with lockable cabinets, electric pumps, retractable hose reels, power controls, and fuel meters
  • Overfill and leak detection system with alarm
  • Fleet fuel management system, to include secure key plug connection and keypad access to fuel dispensers
  • New electrical, grounding and lightning protection service
