About the project
Based on a vast past performance, to include international airports, Palgag was selected to design, fabricate and execute the installation of metal cladding systems at the new L.F. Wade International Airport in St. George, Bermuda
Palgag scope includes over 80,000 square foot of various high standing and prestigious metal cladding systems.
All systems and its substructures were designed by Palgag and tested under the Florida Building Code for High-Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) at a Miami-Dade County certified and approved testing laboratory.
The cladding systems which provide a weather proof and insulated building envelop include:
- Aluminum Cassettes panels, pre-painted marine resistance
- Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP), used in straight and curved shape surfaces
- Aluminum Standing Seam panels.
Palgag’s scope of work was expanded to include the design, fabrication and installation of the required secondary steel structure for the support of all cladding systems.
